  1. This is the video I was talking about a while back :)Really true isn't it. I like her angle to it all because she just says it how it is. No one can be like princesses or princes in Disney films. no in perfect and I think that is a very important lesson that children should be taught rather than haven't unrealistic expectations set for them in films.

  2. You need the magic though!
At 21 I know its not real but it makes me deliriously happy. Its like glee!
You just kinda get over it, I don't think I had a horrible apiffany that birds wouldn't sing back to me.
Though it is interesting what she says about beauty and old ugly women being presented as witches and that the only possible outcome is to marry a prince. I guess you just grow up and adjust your idea about the world. I don't feel like it affected my real adult life. Be cool if life was a diseny movie though.
Now who wants to go to disenyland and find a prince?!

  4. Imagine how it would be without innocence though. I agree what you're saying, but I think we should keep fluffy bunnies and singing for as long as possible. And maybe dreams can come true? haha. I just think you need that stuff as a kid. I need it even now though I know its not true.

  5. I think giving kids aspirations is always good and I never grew up wanting to be a princess and find a prince. These films just bring kids happiness and that's the main thing :)

I've been to Disneyland and its insane, the queues to see grown adults dressed up as Disney characters is so long that you just give up. Nothing is ever the way it is portrayed on telly. But I think we could all use a little bit of magic in our lives, to take us away from the day to day grind!
